Language test preparation hub

Your preparation path

Inspired by international exams (IELTS, TOEFL, TCF/DELF-style skills). Check off each step as you go.

Before you start

Official scoring and session booking are handled by the admissions office. This space is for self-study and classroom prep alignment.

Listening comprehension

  • Skim the context before the audio starts (setting, number of speakers).
  • Note keywords, not full sentences — map ideas to answer choices.
  • If you miss an answer, move on; many tests do not allow replay.

Sample — Sample: listen for purpose (request, complaint, suggestion) in a short campus dialogue.

Reading comprehension

  • Read the questions first to know what to scan for.
  • Underline evidence in the text for each “according to the passage” item.
  • Watch for paraphrase: correct answers rarely copy the wording verbatim.

Sample — Sample: match three headings to paragraphs in a notice about campus services.

Written production

  • Plan 5 minutes: intro — 2 body ideas — conclusion.
  • Respect register (formal email vs. short essay) and word count.
  • Leave 3 minutes to fix connectors and obvious grammar.

Sample — Sample: write 150–180 words arguing for a study group policy in your program.

Oral production

  • Structure answers: situation — action — result (STAR for interviews).
  • Use fillers sparingly; pause instead to show control.
  • Record yourself on phone; listen once for clarity, not perfection.

Sample — Sample: 2-minute monologue describing how you would organize a campus volunteer day.

Timed mock block

Simulate exam pressure: 20 minutes for a mixed mini-series (read a short text, outline a response, review listening strategies). Use a quiet space.
